LASER on demand expands its range of applications
While a large number of applications have already been developed with stationary laser systems, mobile applications have so far mainly been reserved for compact, pulsed systems. Up to now, the majority of work has been carried out on repair welding or surface cleaning. However, the application of mobile high-performance laser systems is interesting for a large number of applications and makes it possible to significantly expand the spectrum of laser inserts. The full range of laser techniques can be used if the processing is not - as before - only in a clean working environment but also in adverse circumstances, such as site conditions or low temperatures feasible.
Due to the demand-oriented provision of laser systems on time (for on-site or rental orders), mobile laser use for cutting, welding and surface treatment has become one of the core competences of LASER on demand.
For each new application, the right laser for the application is selected and delivered in a transport container complete with water-air cooler, fiber-optic cable and processing optics pre-installed. Suitable additional measures also allow transport and use at freezing temperatures.

Over the last few years, we have seen many challenging locations whose environmental conditions are beyond the "laser-typical cleanliness" of conventional production sites. We were always able to reliably solve the problems of our customers with robust laser processes.

The most common areas of application for our activities are sheet metal processing, (large) tool, machine and plant construction, automotive, rail vehicle and shipbuilding, aerospace engineering and energy and power plant engineering.
The scope of work ranges from the decontamination of radioactively contaminated components in nuclear power plants on the welding of machine components with CNC milling machines to the application of hand-guided or mechanized systems for the processing of large, only partially portable workpieces.
